The LS40 series optical encoder is adapted to the L4 series ultra-thin stainless steel tape with a grating pitch of 40 μm. The expansion coefficient is exactly the same as that of the base material. Its excellent corrosion resistance and scratch resistance make it suitable for use in harsh environments. The surface of the L4 stainless steel tape It is very tough, so it does not require any coating protection to prevent the grid lines from being damaged. When the scale is contaminated, alcohol can be used to clean it. Non-polar organic solvents such as acetone and toluene can also be used instead of alcohol. The performance of the stainless steel tape will not be affected in any way after cleaning.
