1. Installation Conditions

Adjust the signal light on the encoder to a deep blue color, as this indicates the strongest signal.

4. Installing the Limit Device
To prevent collisions and damage to the encoder, install a limit device on the machine’s guide rail. This will protect both ends of the optical linear encoder and the steel tape scale during machine movement.
