The light source of the vision measuring machine is divided into ring light, strip light, contour light and coaxial light. In different measurement situations, we need to select the corresponding lamps to better complete the measurement work. We can judge whether the light source is suitable from three perspectives: contrast, light uniformity and the degree of lightening of the background. When we observe that the boundary between the measured element and the background element is clear, the brightness is uniform, and the background is faded and uniform, the light source at this time is suitable.
When we measure workpieces with high reflectivity, coaxial light is more suitable; the surface light source has 5 rings and 8 zones, multi-color, multi-angle, programmable LED lights. The contour light source is a parallel LED light. When measuring complex workpieces, several light sources can be used together to obtain good observation effects of various co-construction and clear boundaries, which can easily realize cross-section measurement of deep holes and large thicknesses. For example: width measurement of cylindrical ring groove, thread profile measurement, etc.
